Creative Team Favorites – 1/11/17

I get to share another group of Creative Team Favorites with you! This is where Amber’s creative team members share with us a page (or two!) using older products from Amber’s shop at The Lilypad. The best part is that they share a little of the story behind the layout or why they chose a specific kit with us, as well!

First up, we have Carrie:

Carrie says “I’m always on the lookout for a kit that works perfectly with Disneyland photos. My Happy Place is just that kit! The primary colors and fun elements make scrapping your Disneyland layouts a breeze.”

Next, we have Diana:

Diana used the Little Moments Elements, Papers and Pocket Cards

While I wait for spring 2017 I used the Little Moments kit to create a layout with photos from my home decorated for spring a couple of years back. I think the colours of this kit are just perfect for spring!

Then, one from Jan S:

She’s using A Season to Remember

A Season To Remember was the perfect kit to use to document this sweet moment between my two boys in the snow. The little one had gotten stuck in snow that was too deep and the older one offered his hand to help him out. The word art and elements were exactly what I was looking for when I was putting together this page.

Next, we have Jan (QuiltyMom):

Jan used the Golden Papers, Elements, Alphas and Pocket Cards

I have been using Golden for a trip to Colonial Williamsburg. I love how the kit’s colors and elements are neutral enough in style, yet colorfully classy, that it makes the photos and stories sing. I keep coming back and using it page after page, even though I could use something else. It’s simply perfect!

One from Wendy:

She used My Heart Sings Papers, Elements and Pocket Cards

Wendy says “My Heart Sings did just that, made me happy and singing a beautiful tune as I scrapped the love that my children have for one another. My Heart Sings allowed me to document a moment of bonding between my children that have a 9-year age difference. I just love how the layout flowed together and was made complete with all the word bits and doodled elements.”

One from Jenna:

Jenna used Better Together

When I saw this kit, I just HAD to work with it. My hubby and I have been taking more and more photos together that I really wanted to encompass our love for one another, not that nobody knows now LOL. This kit is literally “perfect” for the photo I used. So, if you are looking for a fabulous kit for couples, THIS is the one, you won’t be disappointed!

One from Luly:

She used A Season to Remember

Luly says: “I am working a large vacation trip album and thought the colors of this kit worked perfectly with my photos. The small patterns work well on this template – even if the kitt is a Christmas theme. I used the gold paint and enlarged it to include another image. Using the blending tools really made this simple.”

Next, more from Diana:

She used the Golden Papers, Elements, Alphas and Pocket Cards

I used the Golden kit to document a trip my boyfriend and I went on to a city we hadn’t been to before. We explored the city’s open-air museum with a collection of about 90 old buildings that where moved there from other parts of the city. Everything is authentic, from the houses, streets and shops to the gardens. It’s a truly special place.

A two page spread from Holly:

My husband’s Polish side of the family has a beautiful tradition of making pierogi together around the holidays. I loved using “From Scratch” Cards & Elements/Papers to document this!

Another from Carrie:

A Season to Remember is a lovely Christmas kit that I use time and time again. It’s perfect for my photos of our cabin in the snow. It compliments my photo so well.

And last, another from Wendy:

Block Party (Kit and Pocket Cards) was the perfect collection for me to be able to scrap about our trip to Colorado and purchase a home. There were so many goodies in the collection from new home owner, buying a fixer-upper or partying with the neighbors. I loved the versatility of this kit and how well it worked with our travels and buying a new home!

We hope we inspired you a little bit today. Please feel free to link us up to a favorite layout of yours using Amber’s products!

Stacy is an accountant by day and spends time scrapping when she can. She describes herself as a storyteller at heart, who wants her children to understand and feel what she was thinking when she created her pages. Her scrapping goal for 2016 is to continue focusing on everyday moments and maybe to get a little more current on weekly scrapping 😉
