Creative Team Favorites – 3/22/17

I get to share another group of Creative Team Favorites with you! This is where Amber’s creative team members share with us a page (or three!) using older products from Amber’s shop at The Lilypad. This month, we focused on Amber’s retiring products to give them a good sendoff! If any of these kits and products are on your wishlist, you better pick them up now before they are gone for good! They are all 50% off until 3/26/17.

First up, we have Lynnette:

She used the Between the Pages collab with Litabells Designs

Lynnette says “My daughter is just starting to read chapter books & loves reading! This kit was too perfect. After looking through the kit, I knew I wanted to use that bookshelf pattern but didn’t want the busy pattern to overwhelm the page so I split the background and just used it on the bottom, with the solid green on top to balance it out. Then I layered my photo and all the cute elements on top of the horizontal line I created with the papers. This is such a fun kit!”

Isa also used Between the Pages here:

Next, we have Diana:

I used the Destination Adventure Journal Cards to create a layout about a trip I went on to Paris in the spring of 2005. I love to travel and am always on the lookout for great travel themed cards to accompany my photos.

Then, one from Jan S:

She’s using Passionately

This kit perfectly describes my daughter. She is such a fun, passionate, free spirit and always lives life to the fullest. I can see myself going back to Passionately time and time again when scrapping her photos. I love the bright colors.

Next, we have Carrie:

Carrie used the Strength in Hope collab with Litabells Designs

The first thing that drew me to this kit was the color palette. I fell in love with the green, blue and yellow. Using a black and white photo with the color combination was a great choice and I’m such a sucker for a woodgrain background.

One from Luly:

She used the My Happy Place collab with Studio 68

One from Amie:

Amie used the From Scratch kit and Pocket Cards created with Little Butterfly Wings

I used the From Scratch kit & cards. This super kit cute worked perfectly with photos of my daughter testing out her baking skills!

One from me, Stacia:

I used the Aviator collab with JennCK Designs

The Aviator kit is masculine and has just enough elements about flight to be perfect for these photos about my future son-in-law and his work with the police aviation unit.

Next, another from Jan S:

She used the Rain or Shine collab with Pink Reptile Designs

Rain or Shine is the perfect kit for my outdoor photos, no matter the weather. The colors and great variety of elements can be used with so many different types of pages. I just had to use it to scrap the day my son and I got caught in the rain and hid under a shelter taking silly selfies.

A page from Amie:

Little Miss Sassy Pants is what we call our daughter a lot these days! She’s not even a pre-teen & I’m scared for the next few years! This kit is perfectly girly & fun & sassy!

We also have a few from the team using their favorite NON retiring products, as well:

One from Jan (quiltymom):

Jan used Golden Papers and Elements

I can’t seem to get enough of Amber’s “Golden” kit. It is extremely versatile and I always find myself drifting back to it when making a special page. This is of my grandparents, and Golden suddenly had the perfect vintage vibe needed for the photo. I love how it turned out!

One from Holly:

She used All the Feels Papers, Elements and Pocket Cards

I used the “All the Feels” kit to document the last of Week 4. I’m finally getting done with January layouts! This kit was great for using with some excited and happy kids playing in a huge indoor pile of sand and making “Calm Down” bottles with their auntie.

Another from Carrie:

Carrie used the Tell Me About It collab with Erica Zane

I’ve been eye-balling this kit for quite some time. I’ve always thought it looked so fun but just wasn’t sure how I was going to put it to use. When I read the journaling challenge for this month I had an “a-ha” moment. I knew exactly what kit I wanted to use. I love the way my layout turned out!

And lastly, two from Luly, one using Love Letters and the other with Madeline:

We hope we inspired you just a little bit today. Feel free to link us up to a favorite layout of yours using Amber’s products!

Stacy is an accountant by day and spends time scrapping when she can. She describes herself as a storyteller at heart, who wants her children to understand and feel what she was thinking when she created her pages. Her scrapping goal for 2016 is to continue focusing on everyday moments and maybe to get a little more current on weekly scrapping 😉
