Creative Team Favorites – 5/17/17

I get to share another group of Creative Team Favorites with you! This is where Amber’s creative team members share a page (or two!) with us using older products from Amber’s shop at The Lilypad. The best part is that they also share a little of the story behind the layout or maybe their kit choices with us, too!

First up, we have Carrie:

Carrie says “Better Together was the perfect kit choice to scrap this photo of my person and I. We are definitely quite the pair!”

Next, one from Holly:

She said: I’m working with a 6×8 format for my Week in the Life project. Here is the first few pages of Thursday, using “The Good Stuff” from Amber LaBau Designs.
The Good Stuff | Pocket Cards
The Good Stuff | Elements

Next, we have Diana:

I used last month’s beautiful Good Vibes kit to document our celebration of Walpurgis Night on the 30th of April. It was a lovely evening when we had a barbecue with our loved ones and watched the local bonfire (which is actually placed on a raft in the middle of a pond – pretty cool if you ask me).

Then, one from Jan S:

She’s using Metamorphosis Papers and Elements

Metamorphosis was the perfect kit for scrapping a recent photo of my daughter. She is going through some big changes in job and family life right now. I want to encourage her to believe that change is good.

One from Luly:

She used Stories to Tell

Sometimes the page practically makes itself! The colors were perfect! Maybe not traditional Disney but the went along really well with our outfits and all the white space allowed to add a longer story.

One from Wendy:

Wendy used Cake Smash | Just Another Number

One from Jan (quiltymom):

Every year without fail, daughter leaves treats for Santa and his reindeer on Christmas Eve. Amber’s Kit – St. Nicholas (Elements and Papers) were the perfect thing to scrap last year’s photos. I also added in the dates from Joyful (Elements), the perfect touch for showing the before and after photos of Santa’s midnight snack.

Last, two from Maribel:

Maribel said: “Cake Smash was the perfect kit to use for these pocket style pages I worked on for my 5 year old son’s 1st year album. They are already printed, in the pockets and in his album! I am not finished with this project but knew when looking at his birthday photos that the colors in Cake Smash were just perfect! It’s definitely a collection I will use over and over again!”

We hope we inspired you just a little bit today. Feel free to link us up to a favorite layout of yours using Amber’s products!

Stacy is an accountant by day and spends time scrapping when she can. She describes herself as a storyteller at heart, who wants her children to understand and feel what she was thinking when she created her pages. Her scrapping goal for 2016 is to continue focusing on everyday moments and maybe to get a little more current on weekly scrapping 😉
