Layout Lovin’ – 11/23/16

Amber just loves seeing your scrapbook layouts using her products out and about around digi-land. So, each month she’s picking out YOUR pages that catch her eye, she’s telling us WHY she loves them and we’ll be sharing the layouts here on the blog. AND… you never know, there could also be a fun surprise for the scrappers whose page she selects!

Let’s see what Amber found on her tour through The Lilypad Gallery and other online galleries this month:

Sleep Tight by Melhope1230

I LOVE the solid navy background that really lets the other pieces of the page stand right out. The simple grid composition and perfect embellishment placement are so pleasing to the eye and really help you focus on that sweet SWEET photo.. I love it!

Welcome Home! by shunnstergirl

Such a fun page! I love the juxtaposition of the closeup photo with the one a bit farther out. The pop of color peeking out from along the edge is such a treat, and I love the detail of the paint scatters along the edges.. Really nicely done.. 🙂

America by Yolanda (y_baros)

I’m sure I’ve mentioned before that I’m a sucker for a patriotic page (or kit, for that matter) and absolutely LOVE seeing them pop up in my gallery! The large photos here are just beautiful, with the small bits of embellishment here and there.. Add a touch of pattern play in the matting, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a perfect page!

 Downtown Parade by Ophelia (navaja77)

I love all the layering here under the journaling – and look at that EXTRA HUGE card shape peeking out – so fun! Such a great contrast with the bright colors in the photo against that blue background. Really neat!

Small Town Downtown by AmandaJ

Oh, this is just delightful! I love the painty bits along the border, and the fun prints that really give some extra visual interest to the page. My favorite part, though? That gorgeous photo. What a great story to tell here!

So soft. So simple. I love this sweet page.. The rounded paper bits really soften things up right around that sweet photo – almost as if he’s sleeping on a cloud. And hello negative space – love it!

New Boots by Erin (mimisgirl)

Wow. That’s pretty much all there is to say about this page. I love the bright colors, the fun title work, and those shadows – YUMM-O! Such a great page design with the blocked photos and journaling placement – overall, it’s pretty awesome.. 😀

Holiday Magic by Kayla (keepscrappin)

This page by Kayla is so fun.. I love the single photo design and over-sized embellishments. Also, the layering in her title work with the stamp and sticker elements is super fun!

We hope you’ve been inspired by the pages she’s selected, too. All images are linked so that you can see them up close and maybe even leave a little bit of layout lovin’ of your own!

Stacy is an accountant by day and spends time scrapping when she can. She describes herself as a storyteller at heart, who wants her children to understand and feel what she was thinking when she created her pages. Her scrapping goal for 2016 is to continue focusing on everyday moments and maybe to get a little more current on weekly scrapping 😉
