Layout Lovin’ – 12/28/16

Amber just adores seeing scrapbook layouts using her products in The Lilypad Gallery and other galleries around digiland. So, every month she’s picking out YOUR pages that grab her attention, she’s telling us WHY she loves each of them and we are sharing the layouts here on the blog. Pssst… you never know, there could also be a fun surprise or two for the scrappers she selects so be sure you’re posting your pages in her gallery!

Let’s take a look at what Amber found on her tour through The Gallery this month:

“Oh Xmas Tree” by KellyM

A white background with vibrant pops of color really is so beautiful to me! I love how we’re drawn straight to the sweet photo of those smiling faces, but the embellishments and word art along the right side of the page keep our eye moving, while bringing balance to the large tree on the left. Such a fun page!

“2008 Macy’s” by Carol (Iowan)

Eep! Another Christmas tree-inspired design – so, so fun! I love the strong presence of black in this page that really helps ground such a variety of photos.. The washi tape along the edge of the tree is such a fun detail, and that off-kilter title makes my heart so happy. Such a joyful page – I love it!

“C2C2015: Day 28” by LeeAndra

This page by LeeAndra is just so beautiful! I love the sparkly, glittery number for her title, and the tag with journaling bringing everything together. The star of the page, though – a beautiful photo of a beautiful family.. It doesn’t get much better than that, right? 🙂

“Festival of Trees Intro” by adriablack

I’m so in love with the vertical design of this page! Such an adorable photo to take center stage, but then the tone on tone title work on that fun doodley backing with the simple scatter really bring it all together.

“Peace Love Joy” by Judy (chigirl)

I love love LOVE the negative space on this page.. That’s a design concept I’ve never really been able to master as a scrapbooker myself, so when I see it I’m always so drawn to it.. I love the bits and pieces peeking out from behind the photo, and how the circle wordy bits draw your eye down the page to that last reindeer detail. Delightful!

“Glimpses of Decorations” by greenmother

What a fun page this is! I love the nod to a Christmas tree in the layout design, and how it’s a great roundup of all the sights and sounds of the season. The simple embellishments draw your eye around the page and really let you take everything in.. I love it! 😀

“Book Club Dinner” by bonnenuit

I am so in love with all the paper pieces on this page. The two separate blocks of journaling are a nice touch and the title front and center really keeps everything grounded so nicely.. Such a fun memory – I love those special nights out with friends!

“Sweetest Season” by Celeste

I love everything about this page.. The divided background is just perfection, but check out all the details around the photo that really draw your eye in.. The buttons and word bits, the tag, the paper layers underneath.. This page has such a lovely “paper scrapbooking” vibe to it, and I think it’s just wonderful!

We hope that you’ve also been inspired by these beautiful pages. All images are linked so that you can take a look up close and maybe even leave a little bit of layout lovin’ of your own!

Stacy is an accountant by day and spends time scrapping when she can. She describes herself as a storyteller at heart, who wants her children to understand and feel what she was thinking when she created her pages. Her scrapping goal for 2016 is to continue focusing on everyday moments and maybe to get a little more current on weekly scrapping 😉

So flattered that you picked my layout! It is easy to create cute stuff when the kits are as fabulous as yours are!!! Just saying.
