Amber just adores looking through The Lilypad Gallery and other galleries around digiland and seeing layouts using her products. So, every month she’s been picking out YOUR pages that grab her attention, telling us WHY she loves each of them and we are sharing the layouts here on the blog. Pssst… you never know, there could also be a fun surprise or two for the scrappers she selects so be sure you’re posting your pages in her gallery!
Let’s see what Amber found on her tour through The Gallery this month:
First of all – yay for recipes! I am for sure trying this one at home! Second – what a beautiful way to document this family heirloom (yes, recipes are totally heirlooms). I love how the page is divided into distinct sections, and there isn’t a lot to distract from the text, which really should be the focus here. Such a fun page – I’d love to see the rest of the recipe book!
Okay – seriously AMAZING page here! Obviously, the photo is the show-stopper here, but I especially love how Jenn has edited it to match the tones of the kit so perfectly. The arrows and the clusters all work to bring balance and focus to the page – the eye for detail here is fantastic! Love it! 😀
Oh, for all the cuteness! You just can’t go wrong with all those adorable photos!! I love the grid design, with each photo having a different colored frame, and the title right smack in the center is so strong and really ties it all together.
Can I get a “woot woot” for my non-photo-page peeps??! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – these are some of my favorite pages. I love the balance here of the journaling under the embellishments, and the mix of bright and neutral colors really helps keep things grounded and not too crazy.
Oh, this is stunning! The stitching, the grid, the simple embellishments and absolutely beautiful photo. I’ve got mad love for this page and the message of the journaling is the best part!
Oh – I love that large woodgrain M and the attention to detail in the delicate embellishments, from the stamp under the photos, to the gorgeous shadows in the layers on top of them. What a treat for the eyes!
This page went straight into my favorites. I love the multiple photos, plus the bold black border and title work give it a real “magazine” type feel to it. Great use of color in the mats under the pics, too.. Well done!
Simple. Classic. Beautiful. What more can I say? Theses gorgeous photos are showcased so wonderfully with the wood background and minimal embellishments. A beautiful keepsake of this sweet time in their lives.
We hope that you’ve also been inspired by these beautiful pages. All these images are linked so that you can take a look up close and maybe even leave a bit of layout lovin’ of your own!
