Layout Lovin’ – 9/27/17

I’m sure you know Amber really enjoys seeing your scrapbook pages using her products out and about in the galleries all over digi-land! So, each month she is picking out a couple of YOUR layouts that catch her eye, telling us WHY she loves them and we’ll be sharing those layouts here on the blog. AND…  she might have a fun surprise for the scrappers whose pages she picks!

Let’s see what Amber found in The Lilypad Gallery this month:

Cayton Bike Church by Michele Hillam

I love the simplicity of this design, with the minimal color palette and simple patterns, these photos really shine. The bold text up the side help add balance to the photos on the other side, and the frames and flag really play up the “playful” theme.. So super fun!!

Sept 2017 Template by nhudao

I absolutely gasped when I saw this page! The color matching is just amazing, and those photos are so gorgeous! I love how she’s captured her love for him with just a few word strips and a pocket card. Truly a beautiful page.

Make My Heart Sing by LoveItScrapIt

I really love the simplicity of this page – though not simple as in minimal. She has mainly used papers to add interest and depth to her page, while strategic placement of just a few embellishments really brings it all together.. So beautiful!

Grey Skies by shaynesgirl

I love the unexpected pops of color in those few papers against the grey background. They play so perfectly with the bright and cheerful expressions on the faces in the photo. Such a fun page!!!

Hope by Keela

I’m in love with this page! I love the large block of journaling off-set by the different shaped papers. The curving lines of the “hope” sticker & flowers against the harsher shapes also tell a beautiful story of resilience through difficulty. Really beautiful. <3

We hope you’ve also been inspired by the pages she’s selected. All of the images above are linked to the Gallery so that you can see them up close and maybe even leave some layout lovin’ of your own!

Stacy is an accountant by day and spends time scrapping when she can. She describes herself as a storyteller at heart, who wants her children to understand and feel what she was thinking when she created her pages. Her scrapping goal for 2016 is to continue focusing on everyday moments and maybe to get a little more current on weekly scrapping 😉
