Well, friends… My creative journey has taken me so many wonderful places over the last 10 years and the time has come that it’s taking me down roads that lead somewhere other than digital scrapbooking. As such, I will be closing my store at The Lilypad on July 25. It’s definitely a bittersweet time for me, to say goodbye to something that has been such a huge part of my life for so long. My oldest doesn’t even know of a life that doesn’t involve me designing, lol.. But I’m also excited to see where it’s leading. I’ll keep the major things updated here on the blog, and you can continue to follow me on social media for the “minor” updates. I will still be designing, just in different forms, and I’m excited for the change of pace. 🙂
Growing up, I was all about change. I would rearrange my bedroom every couple of months, and when I originally took up digital scrapbooking, my husband liked to joke that my hobby was starting hobbies, and this was just another one to add to the list. Well, 10 years later, I’m proud to say this has been the most meaningful and impactful “hobby” I’ve ever participated in. I think it’s safe to say I have more online friends than “real life” friends. I’ve been inspired by so many amazingly creative people, and it has absolutely been an honor and a privilege to be a part of your stories through my work.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your story. Thank you for sharing so openly. Thank you for your support and your friendship. It has meant the world to me. ♥ My store will remain open thru July 25, at which point I’ll close the door on this chapter of my creative journey and start exploring the next one. I can only hope I will find as much support and inspiration there as I have through my interactions with you.
