Pam Talluto, one of my newest creative team members, is an avid pocket scrapper. We all like to “peek” over the shoulder of our fellow digital scrappers to see if we can learn anything from their scrapbooking process. Pam often has more photos that can fit on a scrapbook page and has found a way to include more of them using QR codes:
Pam says: “One of my favorite ways to add dimension to my Project Life layouts is by adding a QR Code. Whether you have too many photos to add in a layout or want to link to a video that adds life to your layout, QR Codes are the perfect answer!!
My first layout is about a weekend trip my daughter, grandson and granddog took to Holland, Michigan. There were so many cute photos (and videos) I wanted to include, but there obviously wasn’t enough room for 121 pictures (and 3 videos)! So I uploaded them all into Flickr, made an album and captioned the photos to tell the story. When I was finished, I put the Flickr album URL into a QR Code Generator website (I use https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com/ ). After downloading the QR code onto my desktop, I pulled it into Photoshop and treated it like any other element. (Amber’s products: Agenda and Little Moments)
As you can see, you can use any number and combination of photos and/or videos from one to hundreds and also tell a longer story!!”
You can see more of Pam’s pocket layouts in the TLP gallery here.
Look for more “peeks” from Pam and other members of the creative team here soon!
